Sarah Lewis graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in the summer of 2006. After successfully passing the most challenging licensing examinations in North America she set up her practice in Burnaby Heights. She moved to the Heights when she started school and fell in love with the area and has never left. There is a sense of community and a small village atmosphere that she finds incredible in a large metropolis like the Lower Mainland.
Not one to get stuck in a routine, Sarah has decided to continue her studies and pursue her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science. She has also discovered a love for Human Gross Anatomy and has spent many hours in the laboratory reinforcing all that she learned in school and discovering more. “To learn typical anatomy while going to school was a necessity, but I have wanted to delve deeper and apply what I see in the Lab to the patients that I treat” she says.
Sarah has also added to the techniques she applies in her treatments by taking several systemic deep tissue courses as an adjunct to her original training.
In her spare time Sarah enjoys yoga, spending time with family and friends, hiking, gardening and loves travelling whenever she can.
Sarah is happy to answer questions, and always welcomes new patients into her practice.
