I completed the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College in the summer of 2014. My interest in massage therapy stems from a love of working with people, a fascination with the human body, and my previous experience as a physiotherapist in Korea.
I am passionate about how the body heals innately and how it functions in the presence of diverse stressors. I believe that supporting the body’s ability can restore its strength and balance in areas of injury and pain. I consider the effects of postural dysfunction and will make recommendations for awareness and improvement of posture.
I love that massage therapy gives me the opportunity to work with a various group of clients and to assist them as they work toward their goals for good health and balanced lifestyles. To meet each client’s individual needs, I blend a diverse set of modalities and techniques including but not limited to: a thorough assessment, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, joint mobilization, and muscle energy technique.
I am interested in attending more courses on an ongoing basis to be an efficient therapist for my patients. I am planning to continue with Yoga, Pilates and core strength training in the future. In my spare time, I loves to travel, hike, cook, read books and spend time with friends and family.
I always welcome any questions and am ready to help new patients improve their quality of life.
