I know what it feels like to want to make the health of your body a priority, and yet feel like you do not have enough time. We all want to be well and feel healthy. I believe that your body is capable of extraordinary things, but sometimes it needs a little help to get there. I love my job every single day I come to work. Massage therapy can create such a difference in how people feel and how their body can move. I always feel fortunate to be a part of that positive change.
In treatment, I work with my patients to find out exactly what it is they need to be well. We will always work together to achieve your short-term and long-term goals for treatment. Everyone’s journey is different so the goals are different for every person, and I’m happy to meet you wherever you are at. Whenever I can, I like to provide simple activities that you can do at home or at work to help you take control of your health and maintain your body between treatments.
A little about me: I graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy, and passed my licencing exams in 2006. I set up my practice in Burnaby Heights, because there is nowhere else I would rather work and live. I own an online company that teaches the latest research to other massage therapists, in hopes they can use that information to provide the best possible care to their patients. I also teach part-time in the Massage Therapy program at the Vancouver Career College, because I feel passionate about positively influencing the next generation of massage therapists.
In my spare time, I love to hike, kayak, scrapbook, and spend time with my friends and family. I have a love of food, travel and adventure so I’m usually trying something new and fun.
I am happy to answer questions you may have.
